Ingredients:
Bread - 3 slices
Gram flour - 1 cup
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp
Oil for frying
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Mix together gram flour, salt, chilli powder and asafoetida with water to make a loose batter.
- Cut the brown portions of the sides of the bread slices.
- Cut each slice of bread into four pieces.
- Dip each piece of bread into the batter and deep fry until it is fully cooked
